OUR PILATES EQUIPMENT
One of Joseph Pilates’ original inventions and likely the most well-known Pilates apparatus, the reformer was originally named for “universally reforming the body.” It accommodates all levels of Pilates enthusiasts with its unique pulley design, gliding carriage and spring tension system that creates instability while simultaneously supporting the body. We are committed to preserving the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original designs while integrating state-of-the-art technology.

The wunda chair was invented as a result of Joseph Pilates observation of Chinese acrobatic maneuvers on a box, when turned over it doubles as an actual chair. Pure function. He had strong beliefs about how we should sleep and sit, and designed furniture accordingly. He considered modern chairs compromising to optimal internal functioning and posture. The wunda Chair is often used for individual needs to challenge balance and strenght as a student progresses from the introductory Pilates work.
The main difference between Rehabilitation Reformer is the higher carriage height which is comfortable and easy access for injured and mobility- challenged people. The footbar slices horizontally all the way. Rehab Reformers provide the ultimate setting for rehabilitation exercise. Perfect for rehabilitation and physio clinics, medical facilities or those requiring enhanced
accessibility for their patients.
Joseph PIlates created numerous innovations for indivuduals with specific maladies. The Ladder Barrel was one of these innovations. He was highly concerned with the flexibility of the spine and the corresponding strenght of the center. Consequently this equipment offers challenging abdominal exercise as well as flexibility movements that stretch and strenghthen the entire body. Used for individual needs. It combines ladder rungs with a barrel surface for stretching, strengthening and flexibility exercises. The barrel connects to the ladder by a sliding base that adjusts to accommodate different torso sizes and leg lengths.
The original piece of equipment Joseph Pilates invented during his captivity the massage and therapeutic table is known today as the Trap table or Cadillac. Initially, this table was used only for a Therapeutic purpose. In time developed the table to resemble a single four-poster bed with springs, wooden bars and hanging trapezes to challenge even the most fit. To work arms, legs trunk and the entire body against the various spings tensions and positions this equipment affords concentration.
